  I must be living in the stone age...the core of my mouse still consists of an unwieldy rubber ball. At least I know they are still making some of these things with chords.
  
  This is something I should probably put on my xmas list, though...My old clunker of a mouse is a terror to play FPS games with. I have watched my ranking on Kuma Games multiplayer plummet recently on account of the innards of that thing getting gummed up.

  Well, let's say that the look and design of the mouse are good and probably deserve some credits. Also, this is the first right-handed Razer mice and according to the pictures you can find on the web (or on the official Razer website), the Death Adder is ergonomic, well shaped and looks very comfortable. It doesn't seem too big or heavy and the surface texture (material) is smooth and clean. The black color mixed to the blue Led glowing from the wheel button gives this mice a great final look.
  
  It has a 1800 DPI 3G Infrared sensor, 16-Bit Ultra-Wide data channel, On-The-Fly sensitivity (which allows you to switch between different DPI settings) and 1000Hz Ultrapolling. Perhaps those specifications are not crucial for all of us, but let's say it is always a good thing that your mice has such specifications if you ever want to take your gaming experience to a higher level or just benefit from one of the best mice on the market.
  
  All of the mice buttons are programmable which means you can actually completely configure your mice to meet your needs. This feature is very interesting and useful. That is something you cannot always do with a standard mice and although some mices will let you configure the buttons through there software, it is limited most of the time.
  
  Final conclusion, I think this product worth it. No I'm not a Razer fan or even one of there employees. I'm just being simple and realistic.

  Razer is THE ONLY COMPANY that makes high quality input devices for us professional gamers, and unless ur raking in a few G's a year in gaming tournaments like most of the professional teams/gamers our there than u have no right to judge a gamers mouse unless your exactly that... a gamer
  
  u guys most likely think logitech rocks the mouse world?? haha, wow... like I said.... try being a pro gamer and playing with a 8 ms response time cordless mouse... u wont stand a chance on the battlefield.

  The Microsoft (Razer) Habu is designed from the ground up by Razer. Microsoft wanted a high performance mouse, so basically they asked razer to make a modified version of explorer 3.0 with razer innards. Razer did. Microsoft slammed their sticker on it and said: "Check out our new great mouse! The pride of microsoft, DESIGNED BY RAZER so you know its good!"
  
  I own a Habu. It's actually a great mouse. Sure, it has some driver problems, but its fixable. works for me :)

  haven't tries deathadder yet but maybe it's the only mouse thats good in the middle of the rest of razer's mice. And Mke for your information i only know ONE PRO that uses razer which is forest from fnatic!!!the rest of the pros use MICROSOFT 3.0 or 1.1, logi mx518 and 510 and others.....but razer NOTHING, ive only hear about problems on razer mice...........

  Apparently you don't know what the fuck dpi and on-the-fly are.
  dpi means how precise the mouse is, a normal mouse has 600-800, a good mouse like this has 1800-2000, only about 7 mice in the world have above 1800, only one has 2000. on-the-fly means you can change the sensitivity as you play by pressing a single button, perfect from switching weps like from a low sensitivity sniper rifle to a high sensitivity flame thrower. Anyway what the fuck is your problem with optical mice, the only other option is fucking ball mice, dpi average of 200, super inaccurate, and always problematic, needing constant cleaning. you are obviously a noob or simply jealous of everyone using an optical as you use a shitty ball mouse.

  I bought a razer, I was satisfied with it until it would lock up my PC on startup and become unavailible to use, if my PC DID load, the mouse wouldnt work. 4 days old, gg. Go back to my 10 year old intellimouse.

  Funny thing is, out of 10 reviews ive read you the only one that complains about the death adder, all others were unbiased and mentioned good with bad but with yours it just seems its bad. I personally dont have the mouse but everyone I talk to says the deathadder is their best mouse to day and is a amazing mouse.

  Honestly iv waisted lots of money buying shitty equipment for my Godly computer but as i kno if ur a serious gammer this is a must and it was deff worth $100 Keyboard and $70 mouse i been looking into the other razor products they r mint. so if u never used this keyboard or mouse here is a lil trick to get a free trial.. go to ur local best buy (they carry this item) and purchase the item u wish to try and keep ur reciet try for a few days or w/e then return within 30 days u get to use a precision mouse and or a nasty keyboard but again this isnt for the population thats playing tetris this is a serous gaming set in wich im proud to own..............

  my razer copperhead crapped out completely (nothing works on it at all except the pointer) as soon as the warranty expired. im sure the timing is a coincidence but ive used some pretty cheap, crappy mice and ive never had a mouse wear out in 2 years. avoid this company - with shitty product quality and nothing to make it stand out except for its pretty lights, this mouse is basically only good for poseurs who can get their parents or someone else to waste THEIR hard earned cash on it. otherwise, get one of the razer mousing surfaces and a $10 optical mouse and you will find out that it actually controls almost exactly as well as an expensive razer mouse - see for yourself!
